Since 2016, Chaminade Madonna Head Coach Dameon Jones has led the Lions to the state championship game, coming away victorious in four of the last five. Jones has the Lions in their seventh straight championship game this season and will face Clearwater Central Catholic tonight at 7PM at Gene Cox Stadium in Tallahassee.
The Lions are the betting favorite in this state championship game as well and would give Jones and Chaminade Madonna one for the thumb during his tenure as the head coach of the Lions. Five state championships and a national championship is not a bad resume for this Hallandale High School alum.
